Cluster Activity
The Eastern Metalworking Cluster was initiated in June 29th, 2009 by Voivodeship Club of Technology and Rationalization in Lublin. The cluster was established on the basis of „Porozumienia w sprawie utworzenia Wschodniego Klastra Obróbki Metali”.
Main objectives of the Cluster
- Raising the competitiveness of economy region through common cooperation of cluster members
- Increasing the competitiveness and innovations of metalworking companies
- Building economy connections between companies and R&D institutions
- Achieve the synergy effect
The Eastern Metalworking Cluster is the group about 90 members including enterprises from metal industry, scientific and business support units which operate in voivodeships: Lubelskie, Podkarpackie, Świętokrzyskie, Mazowieckie and Łódzkie.
The Cluster Board is the main governing body which set strategic development and control current activities including approval of the accession and exclusion of members and approval of the future initiatives and projects.

The Cluster membership is based on good will and co-operation. The formal access is initiated by supplying the basic company’s information and signing the official Acess Statement. Any new member is to be accepted by the majority of the Board.
The member companies are of the different size and cooperate with different domestic and foreign sectors and industries. They are active participants in domestic and international fears and conferences. Their experienced personnel aided by modern equipment and the latest technologies ensure high quality metal working services and products. Our members very strongly support local and regional social activities and events.
